IP-1 Dry Contact / Voltage Trigger
Automation Trigger with (2) Dry Contact Inputs, (2) Voltage Trigger Inputs, (2) Voltage Trigger Outputs. App-Adjustable Input/Output Voltage 5V-30V. PoE-Powered. Cloud-Controlled.
IP-1 Trigger:
IP-1 Inputs
Dry Contact Closure 1
Dry Contact Closure 2
Voltage Trigger 1 (5V - 24V)
Voltage Trigger 2 (5V - 24V)
IP-1 Outputs
Voltage Trigger 1
(5V - 24V App-Adjustable)
Voltage Trigger 2
(5V - 24V App-Adjustable)
The IP-1 has four independent inputs: two dry contact closures and two voltage triggers. When one of these four independent inputs is placed into a Lighting Group within the PoEWit app, it will turn on all lights in the Lighting Group with a user-defined duration, intensity, steady/flashing, and color (if the lighting is color-capable).
- Dry Contact Closure: Lights trigger when a normally open or closed condition is reversed. Normally open or closed state is user-defined in the PoEWit app.
- Voltage Trigger: Lights trigger when voltage is present. Voltage range is 5V to 24V.
The IP-1 has two independent voltage outputs that will trigger when the Lighting Group is turned on either by an input trigger in same Lighting Group or by another lighting control device, such as a Motion Detector or Wall Switch. These voltage outputs can be used to trigger PoEWit lights as well as any 3rd party devices that accept a voltage trigger. Voltage output is user-defined in the PoEWit app and can range from 5V to 30V.
PoEWit Lighting Network Example with IP-1
The IP-1 can turn on all lights in the diagram below when triggered by any third-party dry contact or voltage trigger via the PoEWit IP-1.
Overview
The NS-8B-10G is PoEWit’s next-generation managed PoE switch, replacing the legacy NS-8B with full 10-gigabit performance and 802.3bt Type 4 power on all eight ports. It is designed for high-power PoE applications that demand both bandwidth and reliability, including PoE lighting systems, AV-over-IP, Wi-Fi 6E / Wi-Fi 7 access points, security systems, and edge compute devices.
Each of the eight copper ports supports up to 90 watts of PoE power while simultaneously delivering up to 10 Gbps of throughput. A total PoE budget of 720 W ensures full power availability across all ports without compromise.
The NS-8B-10G is fully cloud-managed, allowing integrators to configure, monitor, and maintain the switch remotely. VLANs can be created and assigned per port through the PoEWit cloud platform, enabling proper network segmentation for lighting, AV, security, and data traffic. Four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-speed uplinks or aggregation to core switches, servers, or storage. With PoEWit app support, integrators can also remotely power-cycle any PoE port to reboot connected devices without on-site access.
